Sharing

We want the ideas of maker movement to reach as many people as possible.  For this, we organize events and promote initiatives such as

Maker Faire Warsaw

Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth, a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, simply a celebration of the Maker movement. Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, it is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “Makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. With expecting more than 7500 attendee and 200 Makers, Maker Faire Warsaw 2020 will be the greatest event that would impact the maker movement in Warsaw and neighbouring countries.

FabLab by Night

In this project, participants who don’t have access to professional tools on a daily basis, will have the opportunity to use them during thematic workshops. The thematic diversity of the classes made it possible for the workshop offer to reach a wide range of DIY enthusiasts and Makers

Makerthon

Inspired by the idea of Hackathon, Makerthon is a making marathon, where participants learn first about a specific social problem and then try to respond to it by constructing a prototype of their own invention. During the first edition of Makerthon, teams shared their solutions with the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH). The winning team is currently working together with PAH to implement their idea in the educational activities of the organization.

Schools 3D tour

Our educators went off in a journey around Poland, where they completed 100 hours of workshops in Orange Laboratorys. The workshops took place in towns with less than 10,000 inhabitants and were addressed to children and youngsters.
