Robisz.to Association is a community of Makers, professionals and hobbyists, who share a common passion for making and teaching others how to create based on technological knowledge and craftsmanship skills.
In our activity we treat these as tools to bring positive social changes - we work with groups who suffer exclusion and discuss topics important for the community.
Nurturing creative skills leads to positive social changes, which we have the opportunity to observe during workshops and educational projects.
Seeing the huge need to support the education system of children, youth and adults, we promote the creation of informal educational spaces in the fields of digital fabrication and crafts - FabLabs - which thanks to their dynamics, are more easily adapting to changes in the market.
Our vision is to create a friendly environment for makers in Poland. We want the largest number of people in Poland to have access to FabLabs and Makerspaces, where they will be able to create, learn and share knowledge with others.
We try to make sure that values of creative problem-solving skills, become recognizable on the national level and bring with them educational system changes. Through our actions we want to restore the sense of empowerment and independence to people of all ages, resurrect the attractiveness of technical and craft professions and show that anyone can be a Maker.
Our mission is to create digital fabrication and crafts spaces, such as FabLabs and Makerspace, providing access to them to 100 thousand person throughout Poland.
We want to train 100,000 people on digital fabrication and crafts and carry out scalable social projects for 50,000 people. We aim to create in Poland a conscious community of 3.5 million Makers and introduce STEM education to Polish schools.
Our goals for the next few years are:
- creating 11 new Makerspaces and FabLabs in Poland
- provide the first FabAcademy program in Poland
- Organizing the first featured Maker Faire event in Poland
- Creation of a mobile FabLab, thanks to which we will be able to reach smaller towns and schools, which do not have access to digital fabrication
